Forerunners are all older adults of GABC. Hebrews 12:1-3 challenges us to run the race of the Christian life with patient endurance. All Christians are running this race. As “Forerunners” we have run and we want to continue to run the race – leading the way and leaving a legacy for those who come after us in this Christian journey. Webster defines a “Forerunner” as “one who goes before and in some way announces the coming to others.” Forerunners are in the forefront of prayer, praise and service…examples of Christlike love for future generations. This race involves moving forward in our Christian lives, going somewhere – pressing on – knowing that others are following our lead.
