Darryle Dunks | MINISTER OF PASTORAL CARE
Dr. Darryle Dunks is the Green Acres Minister to Pastoral Care. He came to Green Acres Baptist Church in May 1997, after having served as pastor in Texas towns of (Lorena, LaPorte, Waco, Huntsville, Dayton, Temple, Lamesa, and Jacksonville) for 33 years. He and his wife, Bren, have one son, who is pastor of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church, Waco, Texas. Dr. Dunks is a graduate of Baylor University in Waco and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. He and his family served as missionaries with the Foreign Mission Board in Tanzania, East Africa. He received his Doctor of Ministry degree in 1993 with his dissertation entitled "Equipping Older Adults for Selected Ministry Projects."
