The Adult Impact Ministries (AIM) is creating partnerships with local Tyler area community service organizations. The purpose of these partnerships is two-fold:

1) To support the work of these organizations who provide valuable and essential services to our community. These partnerships are designed to create a platform for these organizations to make our church and community aware their services and to provide the opportunity for our members to be involved in their work.

2) These organizations will provide a ministry to our church members

To learn more about these partnerships you may contact them directly or call the Adult Impact Ministries office at 903-525-1186 or adultimpact@mail.gabc.org

TISD Title 1 Program

The Multi-housing Ministry has partnered with the Title 1 department of Tyler ISD to help parents in our local apartments. Through a variety of one-time seminars during lunchtime, Title 1 is helping parents (mostly single moms) gain skills in helping their children understand the TAKS test, providing basic skills in budgeting, diet, and health, and more. Through our partnership with Title 1, we hope to develop lasting and meaningful relationships with the families who live in the apartments where we have ministry and hope to have the opportunity to introduce them to Jesus Christ. Volunteers are needed to help provide a light lunch for the residents who attend these meetings as well as attend the meetings to meet and build relationships with the residents. If you have the gift of hospitality and/or love to meet new people, this might be the ministry for you! For more information contact Andria Horton in the GABC Multi-housing Ministry Office at 903-525-1112 or visit their web-site at www.tylerisd.org/title-1/title1.htm
